Stop off

 

At the top of the Burj El Arab hotel, for a global view of the city. Situated on the last floor of one of only two 6 star hotels in the world. Learn about


The history of the city at the Dubai Museum, located at fort Al-Fahidi. The film they screen will help you understand the evolution of the nomad people as well as the extraordinary commercial growth of the city. Hit the slopes


At Ski Dubai, the largest indoor ski station in the world, situated at the heart of a shopping centre. Here there is no need to wait for the snow: it’s here all year round on an incredible slope, 80 metres high and 400 metres wide. Such an achievement for a country where the temperature can easily reach 40° Celcius. Entrance fee: €16 for adults. €10 for children. Ski equipment can be rented on site.

Golf Fan


At the Emirates Golf Club, frequented by Emirs and expatriates. Chic and charming, this golf course proves that sand is far from being the golfer’s enemy. The course, situated on the dunes, is one of the most difficult in the world! James Blunt, John Legend or Incognito at the Dubai International Jazz Festival, which this year takes place between the 18th and 27th February at the Dubai Media City. Important information: entrance to the concerts is free and no fewer than a hundred groups from throughout the world take part in a jamming session in between the two star concerts. Be thrilled


At the Dubai Tennis Championships which, between the 29th February and 9th March, gathers together the world’s best players. A star-filled arena (Andy Roddick, Elena Demetieva, Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Maria Sharapova and Ana Ivanovic) for more than reasonable prices: less than €100 for a whole week of matches. ► How to get to Dubai

There are 27 direct flights a week to Dubai (14 flights depart from Paris-Charles de Gaulle with Air France and 13 flights depart from Amsterdam-Schiphol with KLM). These flights run day or night to provide a wide choice of schedule and airport transfers from both hubs at Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Amsterdam-Schiphol airports.

There are also daily flights operated by KLM from Amsterdam-Schiphol to Abu Dhabi, capital of the United Arab Emirates, located 1½ hours from Dubai by road.

In addition, a limousine airport transfer is offered to passengers arriving or departing from Dubai or Abu Dhabi on an Air France flight.

At Dubai and Abu Dhabi airports, priority check-in for Flying Blue Petroleum members takes place at the l’Espace Affaires check-in desk for AIR FRANCE passengers and at the Business Class check-in desk for KLM passengers. Online check-in is also available at www.airfrance.ae or www.klm.ae
