Economy Comfort is now available on all KLM long-haul flights.
This dedicated seating zone is KLM’s response to its passengers’ desire to have the choice of more comfort in Economy Class. A seat is available for a nominal fee of €80 to €150 one-way, depending on the duration of the flight, to anyone who travels in Economy Class.
The seats in Economy Comfort zone, which is located in front of the Economy Class cabin, offer
extra legroom (up to 86-89 cm / 34-35 inch) and more recline (15-18 cm / 6-7 inch).
According to your Flying Blue Card level, you can take advantage of service discounts.
Flying Blue Gold members will enjoy a 50% discount, while Flying Blue Silver members save 25%.
For Flying Blue Platinum members and passengers with a fully flexible Economy Class fare (X, S or B booking class), Economy Comfort is free of charge. Please note that all seats are offered on a
first-come, first-serve basis.
For reservations, visit ‘Manage my Booking’ at www.klm.com or contact the AIR FRANCE KLM Sales and Service Centres (via telephone) from 90 days before your flight up to 48 hours before departure. You can also reserve your Economy Comfort seat thanks to Internet Check-In, or by using the
self-service check-in machines in the departure hall and transfer area at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol from 30 hours before your flight up to 1 hour before departure (available soon at other airports).
Platinum members and passengers with a fully flexible Economy Class ticket can also make – free of charge – reservations via their travel agent or the KLM Sales and Service Centre at any time from 90 days prior to their flight up to 48 hours before departure.
